We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
Since I work in both the front and back office at our practice, I get to meet all of our patients. It’s a pleasure to build relationships with them, and make sure they understand how much we appreciate them placing their trust in our care. I love seeing their smiling faces when they arrive, and hearing their thanks to Dr. Oates and our team as they leave. Here, we take pride in delivering top-notch service, from a patient’s first call to the office. We believe we are here to serve and care for those in our community, and it’s a pleasure to do so.
I enjoy talking with and getting to know our patients. Because we establish long-term relationships with our patients, we really develop friendships and I look forward to their visits. As a dental assistant, I bring patients into the treatment area, take digital X-rays, and provide chairside assistance to Dr. Oates during dental procedures. I make sure he has everything he needs, and I talk with the patient about what the doctor is doing and how much progress we’re making. I also make sure they’re always comfortable and relaxed.
Every day I meet new people and learn new things. Whether I’m talking with a patient about their latest trip or learning something from one of my coworkers, I take every opportunity to absorb knowledge. Our team is composed of experienced, smart, wonderful people. We all work together for the benefit of our patients, and enjoy supporting each other. I assist Dr. Oates with dental procedures, take dental X-rays and impressions, and, most importantly, ensure each patient has a great dental experience, every time they’re here.
I spend my days talking with patients. As I learn about their life and interests, I am able to determine the home dental hygiene processes that will work for their lifestyle. I love delivering patient education while I provide periodontal assessments and therapy, clean the patient’s teeth, apply sealants and fluoride, and perform oral cancer screenings. When I can help the person understand how important it is to have a healthy mouth, and how to attain and maintain it between regular hygiene visits, I know I’ve done a good thing.
